What is Sugar Crocus Bakery?

Sugar Crocus Bakery is a high quality, small batch bakery run from my home in the western suburbs of Chicago. It is a (soon to be) registered Cottage Food Business in DuPage County.

In other words, it’s the beginning of something sweet.

Baking it Happen

I have spent my life thus far learning how and why to turn humble ingredients into edible, nourishing joy. After pursuing degrees in Food Science and Baking and Pastry, I spent 13 years with a chocolate ingredient company utilizing my skills as a scientist & baker to help develop products and solve chocolate related mysteries.

Throughout my career I’ve been storing up information, skills, and passion for the right moment. Sugar Crocus Bakery is the next big step in this journey. Check in soon for more updates.  I cannot wait to bake for you!
